anyone could help echi? cuz i really blank about this... >.<
i personally think, CHDTV (China high definition TV / digital transmission TV) is a pay tv (tv cable) in taiwan... cuz they have blueray quality so it must be a pay TV....and Hi HD channel is one of channel in that tv...and it doesn't have any logo, only text Hi HD (just guessing), analyzing from the link i post, i guess it is in channel 52.

Val I always like guys in black suit.... MIB...hahahahahha I find guys in Black suit very attractive.... not sure why....
He does looks nice in ancient costume too... with "long hair"
I actually hoping someone would be able to d/load "Red Persimmons".... want to see that teledrama le.... same here will be patient to wait for his other drama as well....

i've watched si zi hong le! ^^
but don't know how to make good comments in it... cuz, it is not my type of movie...hahaha... blame me..its a matter of my taste...
my type of movie is something that need brain to think what the lesson behind..this story is too simple and plain, and the lesson is too much explicit, maybe it is because the duration of the movie is too short to fill all the lessons.
The story was trying to say about the gap between the old generation and new generation.
I think, this is what happened nowadays: youngsters have their own thought and parents have their own principles.
they intend to get rich faster and to look more successful, so they sometimes bankrupt because of bad debt.
when zhu lu hao (xiezhi's dad in this film) said that he teach students so many years, but he failed teaching his own son (at least, his student still give him respect), but i think there's no much scene (something like flashback scene) to strengthen the evidence that xiezhi's really not good in his father's eye. Not much scene that with all effort, his father teach him wholeheartedly then at the end give up to his son, and make comments that he failed teaching his own son.
the scene fill with father & child miscommunication, and his father prefer to angry with his son rather than explain it very nice like he always did to other people. when xiezhi ask his father where has he been and not accompany his mom causing her leg injured, his father angry with that kind of questions (not polite enough). and when xiezhi ask his father to go home with his company car, his father still give him a bad mood expression. i think it's over reaction (maybe, his zodiac is not harmonize with his father), so the two of them still have miscommunication.... 
xiezhi's acting here is not that extraordinary.... i prefer yu tai yan's acting (xiezhi's mom in this film), although her portion is not much, but her acting is very natural. i like the way she trying to sit while she got leg fracture, and the way she communicate to his son & his husband also very nice, very calm mother, and she has sweet smile too 
the lighting, scene, camera effect also very ordinary... even thought the story is very simple, if it's support by good camera effect, it will result memorable scene... i hope the next creation of wang xiao hai(director of this film) 'bu cunzai de erzi' will be better than this.

Yes I have watched the show already... Here is my comments and views on the drama and also on Xie Zhi's acting. No doubt the drama is short, but I find it very meaningful...
The Movie:
The title of this movie is "Red Persimmons" I will use the title to describe.
As we all know, Persimmons is a fruit that can be eaten fresh or dried, raw or cooked. When eaten fresh, the skin is usually cut/peeled off and the fruit is often cut into quarters or eaten whole like an apple. The flesh ranges from firm to mushy and the texture is unique. The flesh is very sweet and when firm possesses an apple-like crunch.
How can we relate the fruit to the story in "Red Persimmons"?
The fruit when is ripe represent Fan Pa Pa and when the fruit is still fresh represent Zhi Yang, the uniqueness of the fruit texture represent our individual characteristic and the crunchiness of a fresh fruit represent the weakness or strength in oneself. The sweetness of the fruit represents the love that we have for family members, relatives or friends.
The moral behind this story is :-
#1 - Family Love - The sweetness of the Persimmon Fruit
It teaches us, family love is important, they are the once that will always be beside us whatever good or bad things happened.
Example in the story, Zhi Yang loses his job and was thrown out from his rented apartment and he dare not go back to his home, where Tang Ge told him that "there is no home that you cannot go back". Just like how Zhi Yang's parents supported him by taking out his father's pension money to pay for his debts
#2 - Trust your love Ones - The Skin That Protects The Fruit
Here it teaches us to trust the person we love most like our parents, siblings, husband/wife. There will be less divorce cases, less enemies and gain more friends
Example in the story, Zhi Yang suspected his father to have an affair with Liu Tai Tai after listening to all the rumours. He told Tang Ge about the rumour and Tang Ge as an outsider who trusted Zhi Yang's father innocence but not Zhi Yang himself.
#3 - Gratitude - The way how we eat the fruit - raw or cooked
We should have gratitude to the people that had helped us along the way in our daily life be it a small or big things.
Like in the story, Fan Pa Pa shows his gratitude by looking after Liu Tai Tai and son after her husband pass away in an accident where he pushed Fan Pa Pa from the car where Fan Pa Pa was saving the little boy from the car heading towards them.
#4 - Hard Working / Patient - The time and effort put in to grow the tree
There is nothing in this world that comes easy. No fast way of earning money. Hard pays with good results
Like in the story, Zhi Yang was trying all sorts of jobs that can make oney fast and always changing jobs. He always say that his father's way is the wrong way by not changing job and in this way he will not be able to make more money. But in the end, he too lost his job and unable to pay for house rent and also owing the loan sharks a lot of money. Thus makes his father very disappointed not with Zhi Yang but with his own method of teaching. Liu Tai tai advised him that, the effort he puts in teaching his son may not be able to see now, but whatever efforts is put in, the result will be good at the end "Sir Nien Su Mu, Bai Nien Su Ren"
#5 - Never take things for granted - The texture of the fruit
In this world, we will never know what going to happen to us tomorrow. Always treat your family members and friends nicely and if got the chance, tell your love ones "I Love You" before it is too late.
In the story, Zhi Yang realised that he was wrong all this time and he admits that he already made a mistake. He also realised that he had misunderstood his father and also knows that his parents loved him very much. So when he was sick and was admitted to the hospital, he was there to accompany his father until the father wakes up. He also took the opportunity to tell his father that he love him very much and his father also tells Zhi Yang that he love him too.
My views and comments on Xie Zhi's performance
I will not go into talking about how handsome or how smart he look in this movie, to me is pointless to talk about his appearance. I rather go straight into commenting about his performance. (I would like to apologized if I offended you guys ..)
He had improved in his performance in this movie, especially during towards the ending of the drama. The only hindrance is that his performance at the beginning of the movie, he suppose to be an uncommitted son, always thinking of the most simplest way to earn fast money and owing the load shark lots of money but his performance does not give us that feel, but instead, it give us the feel that he is a caring, kind and dutiful son. He should have emphasis on the bad character and then later turn into a committed, loving, caring, understanding, dedicated and supportive son. Then, only we can see the vast changes in his character. Not to say now we cannot see it, we still can see the changes in the character, but it is very vague.
Overall, his acting is good, but he still have a lot of space for improvement...
Phew... what a long winded comments and views....

wow.... no wonder xiezhi praised his fans in his blog that they are great could give detail the lessons behind the film... you are one of xiezhi's great fans...!!
reading yours really enlighten me...really interesting... i could imagine that this film really fit if it discuss in school, and every students gave an essay about it, then the teacher give their point of view....
the moral you've describe is very fits to asian family, indeed it is fit for educational lesson at school, but i think the film itself is too far away to be nominate of any award... dont u think?

Yes I think so too, this drama is too far away for nomination for any kind of award.... Yes it is very educational but the quality of the film is still not up to the award standard yet...
