On the plus side, it makes really nice output. So, if you want something that makes nicer plots than excel, this may be your choice, but be aware of the limitations I noticed above.

See e.g. However, that's not the full story since there is actually some Objective-C stuff involved too. Try renaming to to indicate to the compiler that it should expect Objective-C++ code: g++ -o Program -laquaterm -framework Foundation /Per

• Bug fix: the XLS and JSON exporters did not properly respect Data Filters
As others have noted, this program handles large data sets well (at least up to 100,000 data points, from my experience). On the other hand, the UI for this program is poor. The documentation is sparse and nothing is intuitive. Some basic features seem to be missing, others replaced by counter-intuitive behavior. For example, attempting to zoom in on part of a chart will actually modify the chart by changing the axis bounds to accomplish the zoom.

Everything does, in fact, work fine for my application with this version. I also like the new preference that allows window closing to be client controlled! > Also, I still don't feel comfortable with using aqtGetLastEvent to > actually pull event from AquaTerm. I'd prefer to not go down this route. The app I've built is a real-time stripcharting application that needs to update as quickly as possible to give the user a smooth-scrolling graph. An additional delay on the order of 100 milliseconds per cycle would be very noticeable. Your current implementation in 1.0.b3 seems to work just fine. It basically gives the user the option of a blocking versus a non-blocking event-reading queue. If you're convinced that the blocking route is the only reliable way to go, would it be possible to provide an aqtPeekEventQueue or some other call that would let the user see if an event is pending before blocking on the queue?
